Dr. Muzamil Gufran graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (UBSDM) in Buffalo, NY, in 2014. He then successfully completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at UBSDM in 2016, serving as a co-chief resident during the second year of his residency.

Since completing his training, Dr. Gufran has practiced Pediatric Dentistry in diverse settings, gathering valuable experience and skills. He has provided care to thousands of pediatric patients as a pediatric dental specialist.

Dr. Gufran is board certified and a diplomat of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest achievement within his specialty. He has co-authored several scientific articles in the dental literature.

Dr. Gufran has been serving the pediatric dental community in the Lancaster area since 2018, when he and his family moved to the region. He and his wife, Sehar, are proud parents of an amazing 5-year-old child.

Dr. Gufran is passionate about empowering people with knowledge. He finds joy in seeing individuals, whether patients or his own child, light up with new information. He loves connecting the dots for people, enabling them to make informed decisions about their oral health.

He believes in the power of consistent daily oral hygiene practices, a healthy diet, and timely dental checkups in preventing unnecessary complications.

In his free time, Dr. Gufran enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading about various cultures, cooking and trying different cuisines, gardening, and going to the beach. You might also catch him playing volleyball.

Dr. Gufran is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the PA Fifth District Dental Society. Dr. Gufran has been recognized as one of the top Pennsylvania dentists who is proficient in laser dentistry.

When we found out that Smile Squad does laser dentistry. We drove to them from 2 hours away from Maryland. It is so hard to find providers who do Solea Laser Dentistry which is FDA approved.
